I didn’t say “You must like her.”, I said “Why are you hating on somebody you don’t know?”. You might not like someone but writing a comment about it (that they can see) and calling them “obnoxious” is the problem. You can’t walk up to someone random who hasn’t done anything wrong to you and say “I find you to be obnoxious.” in real life because it would be rude right? The same thing applies here. You’re spreading negativity when you could’ve walked away and not said anything. Zee has a different style. Also kyra is one of the more talented artists there for sure. Amazing memory recall, good drawing skills with awesome styling and a fast worker too. I wonder if kyra's old partner left because they felt mismatched? I think zee did great considering.

@@sicksquid it's true it is difficult to draw out of your head, however based on what I saw she is lacking in fundamental skill. It doesn't make what they said any nicer but it doesn't make them wrong. Critique would be more helpful than commenting that it looked bad without a why but a well versed artist would have the ability to conjure something portraying more fundamental skill on the go, even without a reference.

@@sicksquid ok i never said ALL of her art is underwhelming, afterall ive never seen any other art piece shes drawn and im sure that she isnt a terrible artist. All im saying is that this piece in particular seemed very amateur. I understand its hard to draw from memory so obviously her final product would come out a bit inaccurate looks wise but that doesnt make up for the fact that the anatomy couldve looked better. Afterall anatomy is something most skilled artists should have down.
I think she just had a style closer to jackie's. More simplistic but stylized. But jackie is just more self assured and barely knew the character but ran with it, whereas zee didn't have the confidence to move blindly so quickly. Her drawing was very close though and really cute!

As an artist, I just love how when they switch and see what the other one drew they just start complimenting esch other. I love it when other artists say how much they love what they drew and just looking at these interactions makes me all smiley and happy

I love Jason’s drawings and his personality in general so much. But his drawings dude. They make me laugh and smile.. his creativity and the way he transforms characters is amazing. Y’all hating are lacking and missing out on this creative genius. He stays true and authentic to his art, no matter what anyone says. His work is always a surprise, and I think that in itself is a beautiful essence of art. I can look at his work over and over and still have that happy surprised feel, like wow. His drawings are always so alternative to the original, and it’s so organic because it just happens.. he just does it naturally and it’s awesome.

I like this segment. As an artist myself I love seeing other people draw. And I find it fun when people draw from memory. You can show how creative you are when you don’t know the characters.

Kyra is always a beast at these. She downplays it by being soft spoken and complimentary, but she knows she's kicking everyone's ass.
I absolutely love watching these! I think that Kevin and Jackie have a great dynamic. Kyra has ridiculously good memory and the way she interprets characters into her style so quickly in such a short amount of time is impressive. I haven’t really seen much of Zee but her voice sounds really familiar and I love hearing it for some reason. Jason could do amazing things if he was given more time or maybe if his format was different, like more traditional but the way he plans to take his drawings are great. Brent is really talented as well and also has a great memory. I don’t really know why people are so quick to compare when they all clearly have different art styles and formats so there really can’t be any comparison which makes it that much better to see so many different interpretations. I love when Brett Hartman is included as well. Besides being an icon his drawings are just really fun to look at.
